We want your CHIC HOUSE experience to feel as comfortable as your new sofa. If you need to cancel an order or initiate a return, this page outlines all the details you’ll need to know.
1. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided your item(s) meet all of the following:
✅ Returnable Items:
• Unused, unassembled, and in original condition
• Kept in original packaging, including all parts and manuals
• Accompanied by a valid order number and proof of purchase
🚫 Non-Returnable Items:
• Items marked as Final Sale or Non-Returnable
• Products assembled or used
• Items returned without original packaging
• Gift cards, promotional items, or clearance deals
• Custom or made-to-order pieces
• Any product returned beyond the 30-day window
2. How to Request a Return
Please contact us within 30 days of delivery. We recommend reaching out promptly, as returns require approval before shipment.
In your request, include:
• Your order number
• Reason for return
• Clear photos of the product and packaging (both opened and unopened if applicable)
• Whether you’re requesting a refund or exchange
• Desired replacement color/variant if exchanging
We’ll review and respond within 2 business days with next steps and a return address.
3. Return Fees & Shipping
CHIC HOUSE covers return shipping only in the case of damaged, defective, or incorrect items.
All other return scenarios:
① Order canceled before shipment
• Return Charge: $0
• Return Shipping: $0
② Order canceled while in transit
• Return Charge: $0
• Return Shipping: Customer pays
③ Item unopened, in original box
• Return Charge: $0
• Return Shipping: Customer pays
④ Item opened, all parts intact
• Return Charge: $0
• Return Shipping: Customer pays
⑤ Item opened, packaging missing but unassembled
• Return Charge: 10% restocking fee
• Return Shipping: Customer pays
🔄 We do not accept unauthorized returns. Unapproved shipments may be rejected at the warehouse.
4. Exchanges
Exchanges follow the same conditions as returns. If your replacement is in stock, we’ll ship it after your original item is received and inspected.
5. Damaged or Defective Products
If your item arrives damaged or defective:
• Email us within 48 hours of delivery
• Attach clear images and describe the issue
• We’ll arrange replacement parts, full replacement, or refund—at no extra cost to you
6. Refund Process
• Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days of receiving returned items
• Refunds will be made to your original payment method
• Return shipping fees and applicable restocking charges will be deducted from the final refund (if not our fault)
💡 Note: If a discount code was used, the refund will reflect the actual paid amount, not the original list price.
7. Order Cancellation
Orders can be canceled for a full refund if processing hasn’t begun. Once shipped, cancellation follows the return policy.
8. Situations Not Eligible for Return
CHIC HOUSE will not accept returns in the following cases:
• Return request received beyond 30 days
• Product has been used, assembled, or damaged post-delivery
• Items with improper packaging or missing parts
• Damage caused by customer misuse, incorrect installation, or external environments (e.g., water, direct sunlight)
• Return attempted without prior approval
9. Processing Time

③ Exchange (if in stock)
